Women’s wing Kicks off 2021
On January 17, 2021, women in the Ajegunle community gathered to commence their first “Women’s Wing” meeting of the new year, sporting matching patterned Ankara fabric to signify their sisterhood. The Women’s Wing are piloting the WIIN Model have been participants in the savings group since early 2020.

COVID-19 Response
Supporting Ajegunle Emergency Food Relief
Thanks to your generosity, WIIN was able to support the production of 1,000 reusable protective masks to be distributed to people living in the Ajegunle community in Lagos, Nigeria. Funds raised were also used to supply more than 2,500 free meals to those in need.
We are so grateful for and proud to partner with @dreamsfromtheslum as they continue to serve the community during this pandemic. 🙏
2019: Foundational Visit to Nigeria
WIIN MODEL & NGO WORKSHOP
On January 6, 2020, we invited grassroots organizations in Lagos to workshop the WIIN Model.
We heard inspiring stories from non-profit leaders who collaborated with us to help tailor our approach to their constituents.
Among us were representatives from Seifani Care for Indigents, Dreams from the Slum, Matilda David Foundation, Africa Bridge Initiative, Nigeria Volunteers Award, Bimbo Oodukya Foundation, Street Love, Regal Hope Foundation, Lend a Hand Africa.

In December 2019, we met with Dreams from the Slum, a grassroots nonprofit organization in the Ajegunle community in Lagos, Nigeria.
We presented the WIIN Model to the women in the community, who shared with us insights on their spending and savings practices. The women critiqued the model and helped WIIN to better understand their needs.

In the spirit of the holiday season, WIIN teamed up with Street Love Nigeria to help distribute food, clothing and other essential items to people in Ojuelegba.
